Radpol can customise a Magnet system to suit any overhead crane applications.

Specifically, Magnet control boxes and battery back up power supply systems which meet or exceed all the relevant Australian standards are designed to maximise the magnet performance.

All our core components (power supplies, transformer, contactors, semiconductors,…) are oversized on purpose to maximise longevity and minimise maintenance requirements and parts replacement.

Battery backup systems are designed to keep the magnet energised in case of power failure – the magnet will hold the load for a period of time allowing time to either restore power or move personnel or equipment away from the suspended magnet and its load.

We can design the size of the battery back up system to your specific needs. The standard backup time is about 30-40min for a 220V 30-35A magnet.

A sophisticated battery charging system charges and monitors each battery individually to maximise battery performance and battery lifetime.

Remote system monitoring using a wireless connection and a touchscreen fitted in a wall mount enclosure is standard.
